"We are very sorry for your family's loss and can understand how this issue has caused stress. However, my office has had many conversations with you regarding this matter. Legally we can only make changes to an insurance policy at the request of either 1) A named insured and a party to the policy or 2) The Administrator of the insured's estate. I'm sorry that we can not make changes being requested from someone that is not listed on the policy. I again ask your help in connecting us with the Administrator of the Estate so we can make any needed changes."

"Russell - I am sorry we were not able to insure your house during the construction/rebuilding process. Please know this was nothing directed at you personally and nothing that my agency has any control over. Being a State Farm agent I can only sell policies State Farm offers. State Farm does not currently have a policy that will provide builders the protection they need during this type of project. Please let me know if I can help refer you to other agents who will be able to help provide you the coverage and the type of policy you need. However, once the project is complete we are happy to give you a quote in an effort to earn your business. UPDATE - Russell - We have just emailed you a list of independent agents we have worked with in the past with hopes one of them will have a product that can cover you on this project. "
